Cua Lo Port is one of the key projects of Nghe An Province as well as Vietsun Corporation. This is the second port in the South Cua Lo Wharf Area. Cua Lo Port not only stands out with the most favorable location and the large scale but also with the capacity to receive the largest ship in Cua Lo area – a vessel size is 30,000 DWT. Project is planned with the scale of 2 terminals in a total area of more than 20 hectares.

This port owns a favorable location anticipating the trend of moving goods from the Southest Nghe An economic zone and following Vietsun Corporation footsteps. Cua Lo Port is located at Cua Lo Wharf Area – the most important international and domestic commercial transport hub in North Central region (at Ca River mouth with deep draft and appropriate turning basin), Cua Lo Port is the closest gateway through the sea compared to other ports in Nghe An area. In addition, Cua Lo Port is on the traffic axis – connecting import-export cargoes from Laos.
Cua Lo Port was born to promote Nghe An economic growth and become a strategic link connecting economic belts in the chain of logistics activities across the country. At the same time, Cua Lo Port marked an important turning point that significantly changed Vietsun’s position and become one of leading logistics operator in Vietnam. |
